City of Hamilton Planning staff are inviting public feedback on an industrial warehouse proposal for 844 Glancaster Road and comments are due by June 7, 2026

Your comments will help inform the Staff recommendation to Council when this is voted on at an upcoming Planning Committee meeting.

This property in the AEGD would include multiple warehouse buildings, a woodlot, and the extension of the future Arterial 1N public road.

300 trees, most within hedgerows surrounding the property (not part of the woodlot), were inventoried. The vast majority are proposed to be removed. This is not acceptable. Hedgerows provide valuable linkages for wildlife movement. As many mature trees as possible on the perimeter of the property and surrounding the stormwater pond should be left in place. Barn Swallows, Eastern Meadowlark and other SAR and Species of Concern birds were observed on the property.
